Caroline joined Highvern & Permian as Group CEO in January 2026. She has over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector and a proven track record of leading and growing wealth and asset management businesses, while driving technological transformations in regulated environments, all with a strong client focus. Most recently, Caroline was CEO of M&G Wealth.
Before this, she held several prominent leadership positions, including CEO and Executive Director of Brooks Macdonald Group plc, and Head of UK Premier and Wealth at HSBC. Earlier in her career, Caroline gained extensive consulting experience across European asset management and wealth during her eight years with McKinsey. She began her career as a Private Client Investment Manager.
Caroline has made significant contributions to the wider industry and is recognised as a thoughtful sector voice. She served as a Board Director of The Investment Association and was a member of HM Treasury’s Asset Management Taskforce, which played a significant role in the development and launch of Long-Term Asset Funds (LTAFs) in the UK.
Originally from Scotland, Caroline is based in London.
