HIGHVERN’s Ellen Hibbs has been shortlisted by Jersey Finance in its Rising Star of 2022 Awards in the Sustainability category. These Awards look to recognise young professionals’ achievements in the finance industry and celebrate their success.
Ellen is passionate about the environment and sustainability, having been selected to take part in Jersey’s #BuildBackBetter initiative, which aims to educate the next generation of finance leaders on how they can play a role in sustainable finance. The hope is that participants will share their learnings with their colleagues and employers to assess how they can collectively have a more positive global impact in the future. Due to her interest in the sustainability arena, Ellen is also the Chair of HIGHVERN’s ESG Committee, which looks to shape the direction of HIGHVERN’s ESG policy and plan. The employee-led committee have been working hard to evaluate HIGHVERN’s current position in order to set realistic targeted goals that will align with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
