Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure up to date and accurate bookkeeping of all assigned fund and SPV structures.
- Preparation of bank reconciliations for a portfolio of clients, including analysis of cash payments and receipts.
- Prepare financial statements, specialised investor and other reporting requirements of the Fund/SPV within client / regulatory timescales.
- Preparation of fee calculations (such as management and performance fees) in accordance with underlying fund/SPV documentation
- Working with Transfer Agency colleagues to ensure accuracy of information in capital calls, distributions made by relevant funds.
- Liaise with external auditors during the audit cycle of the Fund/SPV structure ensuring all information is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide proactive query management and resolution for items raised by colleagues, clients, their advisors and auditors.
- Provision of exceptional service levels and client experience for clients and related parties throughout the whole life cycle.
- Adherence to all company workflows, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Business or Accounting degree
- Positive, personable, self-motivated and a willingness to learn.
- Understanding of the requirements of quality client service.
- Excellent numeracy and computer literacy skills are essential.
- 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, together with attention to detail, are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts.
- Interest in pursuing a career in accounting with a view to taking professional ACCA exams, part qualified an advantage.
