Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure up to date and accurate bookkeeping of all assigned fund and SPV structures.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations for a portfolio of clients, including analysis of cash payments and receipts. 
  • Prepare financial statements, specialised investor and other reporting requirements of the Fund/SPV within client / regulatory timescales.
  • Preparation of fee calculations (such as management and performance fees) in accordance with underlying fund/SPV documentation
  • Working with Transfer Agency colleagues to ensure accuracy of information in capital calls, distributions made by relevant funds.
  • Liaise with external auditors during the audit cycle of the Fund/SPV structure ensuring all information is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide proactive query management and resolution for items raised by colleagues, clients, their advisors and auditors.
  • Provision of exceptional service levels and client experience for clients and related parties throughout the whole life cycle.
  • Adherence to all company workflows, policies and procedures. 

Requirements:

  • Business or Accounting degree
  • Positive, personable, self-motivated and a willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of the requirements of quality client service.
  • Excellent numeracy and computer literacy skills are essential.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, together with attention to detail, are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in accounting with a view to taking professional ACCA exams, part qualified an advantage.
