Miles Le Cornu
Head of Private Client Services
Miles is Head of Private Client Services at Highvern and has over 30 years experience in the Trust industry, the majority of these in positions of senior management.
Miles is responsible for all aspects of private client administration, relationship management and development.
Prior to joining Highvern, Miles spent 18 years at BNP Paribas as head of all Wealth Management activities in Jersey. Whilst his career has provided him with the opportunity to work with wealthy families from all parts of the globe he has significant experience of working with families in the Middle East and Asia, regions he has travelled to extensively.
Miles is a member of the board of directors of Highvern Trustees Limited, an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Financial Services and a fully qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP).
Private Client Director
Simon is a Private Client Director at Highvern. Simon has over 25 years experience in the Trust and Fiduciary industry having worked at independent and bank owned trust companies.
Previously head of a single family office, Simon has experience in overseeing a variety of structures and asset classes. At Highvern, Simon is responsible for a portfolio of high and ultra high net worth clients specialising in establishing and administering complicated structures for clients based primarily in the UK and Western Europe.
Simon is a fully qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP), and holds the certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD).
Director of Advisory (MLCO)
Marc is Director of Advisory and the Money Laundering Compliance Officer at Highvern. Called to the Bar of England & Wales in 1993, and then the Bar of Jersey in 1998, Marc has over 25 years experience as a lawyer, and 20 years in the Trust industry.
During his career in private practice with a number of leading offshore law firms, Marc specialised in trust and private client work with an emphasis on establishing and developing complex family governance structures, including the use of private trust companies and foundations. At Highvern, Marc addresses issues relating to both fiduciary risk and the practical management of clients’ affairs. Marc also has detailed knowledge of FATCA and CRS regimes and deals with their application to structures.
Marc is a fully qualified member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP) and the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA), and sits on the Jersey Finance Foundations Law Working Party.
Associate director, private client services
Ross is a Private Client Associate Director in the Family Office Services Team at Highvern. With over 16 years experience in Trust, Ross has extensive knowledge in delivering professional governance and administration services to a predominantly Middle Eastern and US high and ultra high net worth client base.
Ross manages a varied portfolio of trust structures.
Ross is a fully qualified Chartered Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, and is currently studying towards the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
David Le Roux
David is a Trust Manager at Highvern and has 18 years experience in financial services, mainly in trust and fiduciary services but also in private banking and investments.
David is experienced in working with complex trust structures, managed companies, family office, private equity, limited partnerships and commercial property.
David holds a Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Mark is a Trust Manager at Highvern. Mark has over 30 years experience in the Trust and Fiduciary Services industry in Jersey, and now works as a Trust Manager administering a portfolio of complex structures for predominantly high net worth Asian clients, in addition to providing technical support to his team.
Mark is a fully qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP).
